Frequently asked questions

All the answers about StoFlow: marketplaces (Vinted, Leboncoin, eBay, Etsy, Vestiaire Collective), products and AI, account and security, subscription and cancellation, referral. The reference page for any question about the service.

General

What is StoFlow?

StoFlow is a multi-marketplace management platform for fashion resellers. It lets you create your product pages once and publish them on Vinted, Leboncoin, eBay, Etsy and Vestiaire Collective from a single dashboard, with the help of AI for photos, titles and descriptions.

Do I need to install anything?

Yes, for four marketplaces out of five. Vinted, Leboncoin, Etsy and Vestiaire Collective connect through a browser session: either the StoFlow extension (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave), which can only be installed on a computer, or a Cloud account hosted by StoFlow, included from the Pro plan and manageable from a phone. Only eBay connects through official authorisation, with nothing to install.

Is StoFlow free?

The Free plan is entirely free and permanent (100 published products, 2 marketplaces: Vinted and Leboncoin). Paid plans start at €:plan-quota{plan="starter" field="price"}/month, with no commitment, and can be cancelled at any time. There is currently no free trial on paid plans.

Is my data safe?

Yes. StoFlow is hosted in France on OVHcloud servers and is compliant with the GDPR. All communications are encrypted (HTTPS) and your marketplace credentials are never stored in plain text.

Phone and computer

Does StoFlow work on my phone?

Yes, almost everything works from your phone's browser: same account, same catalogue, same dashboard as on a computer. Only one step gets stuck, and only on the Free and Starter plans: connecting a Vinted or Leboncoin account. eBay connects perfectly well from a phone; so do Etsy and Vestiaire Collective, since they require a plan that already includes the Cloud account.

Why is it not possible to connect Vinted or Leboncoin from my phone with the extension?

The StoFlow browser extension, which handles this connection, can only be installed on a computer: neither Chrome nor Safari on a phone allows an extension to be installed. This is a technical limit of mobile browsers, not a StoFlow choice. And it applies to both marketplaces of the Free plan, Vinted and Leboncoin, which use exactly the same connection method.

Is there a way to connect Vinted or Leboncoin from my phone, without a computer?

Yes, but only from the Pro plan: the Cloud account, a session hosted by StoFlow and managed entirely from a phone, is included in the Pro and Business plans. On the Free and Starter plans, the Cloud account is not included: connecting Vinted or Leboncoin then requires a computer with the extension. Switching the connection method (extension or Cloud) on an account that is already connected deletes neither the connection nor the linked listings.

Does the StoFlow mobile app exist yet?

No, not yet. A StoFlow app for iPhone and Android is under construction; it is not published on the App Store or the Play Store, with no date announced for now.

Marketplaces

Which marketplaces are supported?

Vinted, Leboncoin, eBay, Etsy and Vestiaire Collective. Vinted and Leboncoin are included from the Free plan, eBay France requires the Starter plan, Vestiaire Collective the Pro plan and Etsy the Business plan. eBay's nine European sites (France, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Austria) are reserved for the Business plan: below it, eBay is limited to France. Full details on our pricing.

Does StoFlow publish automatically?

No. You choose when and where to publish. StoFlow never publishes without your confirmation.

What happens if I sell a product on a marketplace?

StoFlow sees it as soon as the order comes in and marks the product as sold on its own, without asking you anything. This is by design: by the time you confirmed, the product would still be for sale elsewhere and could be sold twice.

Are my existing listings imported?

Yes. Use the Sync button to import your existing listings. They appear as "unlinked" and you can link them to your StoFlow catalogue.

Why can my Leboncoin publication fail or disappear without explanation?

Leboncoin requires a full postal address, a valid email and a valid phone number on your seller account: without them, publication is blocked before it is even sent (StoFlow uses the details of your Leboncoin connection first, otherwise those of your StoFlow profile). Once published, the listing remains subject to Leboncoin's automatic moderation: more than 5 hashtag-style keywords, a URL, or a mention of another marketplace in the title or description can lead to an immediate rejection or a silent archiving, with no notification. StoFlow automatically cleans up these elements before each publication, but a manual edit made directly on Leboncoin can reintroduce the problem.

The extension is not responding, or StoFlow says "extension not detected"

In order, from quickest to most drastic: check that the extension is enabled in your browser settings; if the StoFlow icon has disappeared from the toolbar, click the puzzle icon and pin it; disable then re-enable the extension, or restart the browser. If nothing works, remove the extension, restart the browser, reinstall it from the Chrome Web Store, then log in to StoFlow again. A Chrome update sometimes uninstalls the extension without warning: this is the most frequent case.

My Vinted or eBay connection no longer works, what should I do?

For Vinted and Leboncoin, the connection relies on your browser session: log in to the marketplace again in the same browser as the extension, refresh its page, then run the sync again from Marketplace > Connections. For eBay, Etsy and Vestiaire Collective, it is an official authorisation that expires: go to Marketplace > Connections, open the connection concerned and click Reconnect. If the authorisation window does not open, your browser is blocking pop-ups.

Can StoFlow get me banned from a marketplace?

The risk exists, and it depends mostly on you. StoFlow applies technical safeguards (automatic clean-up of risky content on Leboncoin, delays between publications), but it is up to you to follow the rules specific to each marketplace. Two concrete examples: on Etsy, a product must be at least 20 years old to be classed as Vintage, and a resold product cannot be declared Handmade, on pain of removal of the listing and suspension of the account; on Leboncoin, too many keywords or a mention of another marketplace can make a listing disappear without warning. The rules to follow, marketplace by marketplace, are detailed in the best practices charter. In accordance with Article 6 bis of our Terms of Sale for individuals and Terms of Sale for professionals, StoFlow is not liable for sanctions imposed by a third-party marketplace where the customer fails to follow these rules.

Products and AI

Which photo formats and sizes does StoFlow accept?

From 1 to 20 photos per product, in JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC/HEIF or AVIF format (the last three are converted automatically to JPEG). GIF is not accepted. Maximum size: 15 MB per photo.

How does background removal work?

The AI automatically removes the background from your photos to create a professional white background. You can always revert to the original photo.

Can the AI get attributes wrong?

Yes, the AI sometimes makes mistakes. Always check the detected attributes before publishing. You can edit each field manually.

Which fields are required before I can publish a product?

Title, description, price above 0, category, condition, brand (or "No brand"), stock quantity above 0, and at least one photo. Some categories also require a size from the right size system (for example not a hat size on a garment).

Why is my listing title shorter once published?

Each marketplace imposes its own character limit on titles, shorter than the StoFlow limit (500 characters): eBay 80, Vinted and Vestiaire Collective 100, Etsy 140, Leboncoin 200. StoFlow automatically truncates the title to the limit of the chosen marketplace at publication, cutting on a whole word whenever possible.

I have reached my plan's product limit, what should I do?

The quota only counts your products with Published status on StoFlow; your drafts do not count. Free: 100 published products, Starter: 500, Pro: 2,000, Business: illimités. Set back to draft or archive the products you no longer sell to get back under the limit, or upgrade to a higher plan. Note: setting a product page back to draft takes it out of your StoFlow catalogue, not off the marketplaces. Listings that are already live stay active there, by design; to remove them, you need to unpublish them.

What happens when my AI quota runs out?

AI operations are no longer available until the quota renews, which happens on the 1st of each month, not on the anniversary date of your subscription: if you subscribe on the 25th, you therefore start again with a full quota six days later. You can also upgrade to a higher plan for an immediately higher quota.

Account and security

I forgot my password, how do I recover it?

On the login page, click Forgot your password?, enter your email: you receive a link to choose a new password.

Why is my account locked after several login attempts?

After 5 incorrect passwords, your account is locked automatically for 30 minutes. Try again afterwards, or use Forgot your password? to choose a new one.

Why is my new password rejected?

It must be at least 12 characters long and contain an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a digit and a special character. If you simply want to change it without having forgotten it, go to Settings > Security; the "forgot password" procedure is not needed.

Can I get a copy of my data?

Yes, without asking anyone: Settings > Profile, "Export (JSON)" button. The file contains your personal data, your catalogue and your connections. This is the right to data portability provided by the GDPR (Article 20), and it also works if you plan to leave.

How do I delete my account, and what happens to my listings on the marketplaces?

From Settings > Profile, Danger zone section, you confirm by typing DELETE. Your account is deactivated immediately and your subscription cancelled; your personal data is anonymised 30 days later (billing data is kept for 10 years, an accounting obligation). Your listings that are already published, however, are not removed: they live on your Vinted, Leboncoin or eBay accounts, not on StoFlow. If you want them to disappear, unpublish them before deleting your account, while your connections still work.

I requested the deletion of my account by mistake, can I cancel?

You have 30 days to change your mind, but not on your own from the site: as soon as you make the request, your account is deactivated and you can no longer log in to cancel it. Contact support before the date given in the confirmation email; it can reactivate your account.

Subscription

Can I change plan at any time?

Yes. A change to a paid plan, higher or lower, takes effect immediately: your access to the new plan starts right away. For an upgrade, the difference is charged immediately on a pro rata basis. For a downgrade, Stripe calculates a credit equal to the unused part of your old plan and applies it automatically to your next invoice. Only switching to the Free plan follows the standard cancellation (see the cancellation question below).

Where can I find my invoices?

In Settings > Subscription, the "View my invoices" button opens the Stripe portal, where all your invoices can be downloaded as PDFs. This is also where you change your bank card.

How do I cancel my subscription, and what happens to my account afterwards?

From Settings > Subscription, click "Cancel my subscription" then confirm. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period already paid; on that date, your account automatically returns to the Free plan. Your products and data are kept: if you exceed the Free quota (100 published products), your most recent publications go back to draft until you are within the limit; they are never deleted. In the same way, the marketplace connections that the Free plan no longer covers are suspended, not deleted: they become active again as soon as you resubscribe.

If I cancel my subscription right after being charged, am I refunded?

Yes, subject to a time limit. The law gives you a right of withdrawal of 14 days from your very first paid invoice (whether you pay monthly or annually): within this period, a "Withdraw from the contract here" button on the Settings > Subscription page cancels your subscription immediately and refunds you in full. This right can be exercised only once per account: if you have already used it, resubscribing does not reopen it for twelve months. After these 14 days, standard cancellation applies: no more refund, but your subscription stays active until the end of the period already paid.

What happens if my payment fails? Is my account cut off straight away?

No. A first failure triggers Stripe's automatic retries, which present the payment again several times over about two weeks, with email reminders on the same day then at 3, 7 and 14 days. Your access stays complete throughout this period, and the day-14 message announces the suspension for the next day. With no payment after 15 days, the subscription is cancelled and your account returns to the Free plan, with the same mechanics as a cancellation (data kept, excess products set to draft).

Referral

In Settings > Referral: your personal link can be copied in one click, along with the balance of your rewards. Someone who clicks on it stays attached to you for 60 days, even if they do not create their account the same day.

Are the referral limits reset to zero on the 1st of each month and on 1 January?

No: they are rolling windows, not calendar periods. The limit of 5 counts the referrals validated over the last 30 days, and the limit of 20 those over the last 365 days, always calculated from today. A calendar limit would have allowed 20 referrals to be validated in December and 20 more as soon as the following 1 January; the rolling window prevents this workaround.

How does StoFlow check that I am not referring myself with a second account?

The detection cross-checks the IP address and the fingerprint of your browser at the time the referred user signs up against those already recorded on your own account. StoFlow also checks that the referred user's email is not a disposable address, and monitors bursts of sign-ups from a single IP. However, there is currently no check by payment method (bank card): this control is not yet in place.

How much exactly do I earn when a referred user subscribes?

Your reward depends on the price of the plan chosen by your referred user, it is not a fixed amount per plan: if they pay monthly, you receive half of the monthly price of their plan (half of €:plan-quota{plan="starter" field="price"} for a Starter referred user, for example); if they pay annually, you receive the equivalent of one full month at the monthly rate of their plan. A referred user who stays on the Free plan triggers no reward, since they pay nothing.
