Automating your Vinted sales carries a non-zero risk: Vinted's terms prohibit external software tools unless Vinted authorises them, and automatic republishing looks like a practice they cite. This article gives you the exact clause, the limits StoFlow sets itself, and leaves the decision to you.
What do Vinted's terms say about external tools?
Section 6 of Vinted's terms and conditions prohibits the use of "any type of external software tool (including, but not limited to, bots, scraping programmes, crawling programmes, spiders)" (our translation of the French text) when you register on the Site and/or use the Site and/or the Services (including, but not limited to, to promote Items or add Items to favourites), unless such use is authorised, offered or otherwise permitted by us.
The same section prohibits "deleting and re-adding the same Item several times or several Items in bulk" (our translation; accessed 6 October 2026). These two prohibitions are the ones to keep in mind before automating anything on Vinted. The terms do not say what is "permitted in another way": only Vinted decides, and its assessment can change.
Which StoFlow actions on Vinted fall under these clauses?
The clause on external tools covers any tool, whatever the action: what follows is not a ranking. For each StoFlow action that writes to Vinted, here is the clause to read.
- Publishing a listing and distributing it across several platforms (crosslisting): an action by an external tool on Vinted, covered by the clause on external tools.
- Removing a listing sold elsewhere: a deletion made by an external tool, same clause. It follows a confirmation setting that you configure: by default it happens automatically, but you can ask to validate it yourself.
- Republishing automatically: creating a new listing, then deleting the old one, which amounts to the result targeted by the clause on "deleting and re-adding"; the clause on external tools applies too. It is a rule that you configure and switch on yourself.
We have found no Vinted page that declares any of these actions permitted: the decision remains Vinted's.
Is automatic republishing risky?
Yes, the risk is real: automatic republishing resembles the clause on deleting and re-inserting the same item, and Vinted remains the sole judge of what is tolerated. We cannot guarantee that it will not lead to any restriction.
That is why, at StoFlow, automatic republishing is disabled by default: a rule is created in the disabled state, and the automation is available from the Pro plan. You switch it on yourself, or you do not. If your goal is mainly to boost a listing's visibility, our article on the right time to republish looks at the question from the results side.
Which limits does StoFlow apply to its automations?
StoFlow's scheduled automation rules can only be set between 8am and 10pm (Paris time), and each run receives a random delay of up to 15% of the shortest interval between two runs, with a maximum of 30 minutes. This delay can push a run past 10pm, by up to 30 minutes, and the time window is only checked when you create or modify the rule.
These rules do not cover everything: removing a listing sold elsewhere, a run that you trigger yourself and smart repricing are not subject to this window. The daily cap on automatic republishing is the publisher's choice: you can lower it but not raise it. None of this promises that your account will never be restricted.
What about messages and multiple accounts?
For messages, keep the final decision yourself, without believing that this takes you outside the clause: it covers any external software tool, including one whose suggestions you validate. For multiple accounts, Vinted's help centre is clear: "owning several Vinted accounts" (our translation) is among the reasons for a permanent ban, except for one personal account and one Pro account created with different e-mail addresses and phone numbers (see Your account has been blocked: how do you contest the decision?). A tool that manages several Vinted accounts does not change this rule: StoFlow lets you connect 2 Vinted accounts on Pro and 5 on Business, which does not exempt you from reading it, and Vinted's position is set out on its help page. If your volume makes you wonder about your status, our guide becoming a professional seller on Vinted covers that subject separately.
What approach should you take in practice?
Turn on only one automation at a time, after reading the clause, and switch on automatic republishing only once you understand the risk. Removing a listing sold elsewhere follows a confirmation setting that you configure: it happens automatically by default, and you can switch it to manual validation. Our article on how to manage hundreds of listings sets out the method, and the one on stock sync covers removal on sale.
To understand how a browser extension fits with these rules, also read the risk of account blocking with a Vinted extension. StoFlow distributes your listings across several marketplaces; the choice of whether to enable each automation remains yours.
